Get to Know Me

From an early age, family has always been the cornerstone of my life, driving me to push beyond my limits and create a better future for those I love. I learned the value of perseverance and resilience, traits instilled in me by my mother and grandparents who worked tirelessly to provide for our family. This is where my work ethic and commitment to excellence comes from. I got straight A's in school every year until the 9th grade, when I got my first B. I was terrified to show my mom my report card thinking she would be so disappointed that my unblemished academic record would be ruined. She laughed and said, "...as long as you tried your absolute best, I'll never not be proud of you." That moment taught me an invaluable lesson about managing fear and expectations.

To many, my journey towards success has been nothing short of remarkable. While my educational path had its unfortunate twists and turns, my unwavering determination and resilience has always propelled me forward. After initially embarking on my educational journey in Political Science at Eastern Kentucky Univ., life took me on a different course causing me to fall short of my childhood dreams. Unwittingly, it was there that I honed my leadership skills, cultivated a passion for personal growth, and forged lifelong connections that have guided me every step of the way since. In 2018, my children inspired me to re-enroll online to get the degree that I had set out to obtain years prior.  One year later, my daughter and I graduated together. I finally walked across my collegiate stage and two weeks later she did the same across her high school stage. This decision not only reignited my academic pursuits but also ignited a newfound sense of purpose and determination.

Despite the challenges I faced early on, I never lost sight of my potential to make a positive impact. Armed with a fierce determination and an unwavering belief in my abilities, I set out to make a difference in the world. Through hard work, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, I was able to rise through the ranks to become a trusted leader and mentor in my field, thus giving birth to name "Coach Vic". I was out of the starting blocks and focused on making history in my career, one that would be rooted in sales management and performance coaching, multi-sector learning & development, leadership development programming and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Today, my journey is a testament to the power of resilience and the boundless potential of the human spirit. My educational background has served me well as a foundation for my keen understanding of human behavior, organizational dynamics, and leadership learning principles. My commitment to continuous learning and growth is evident in my professional achievements and accolades, but pale in comparison to my track record of guiding organizations through periods of transformation and uncertainty. 

 

The world wants you to know that I am an Executive Coach, Keynote Speaker and Workshop Facilitator who is committed to empowering individuals and organizations to unlock their full potential and create lasting change. I only hope that my story inspires others to overcome their own obstacles and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.
